Allow all admins to edit other admins threads
Mariae De Leon
Hello! I would love to have the option to edit all the threads made by admins. This way, my team and I can work more independently.

Seriously, This isn't already Included? I had a member post a bunch of Black Friday deals and said, "these aren't affiliate links, Dave please update these to use yours" and I can't. One would think and admin (or for me the owner) would have 100% control over everything.

Allow Admin to edit each other's posts

Currently treated as a one man show but if you have a team, the core pinned messages and branding that appear on top of threads sometimes need editing. Inefficient to have business owner being the only one that can do so. Allow admins full access to change anything and perhaps with a list of items you can personally decide you want access to for example, not to let them delete stuff. etc.

Edit posts for Admins

Admins should be able to not only move or save thread posts, but also edit them to remove inappropriate content if needed.

This is a feature that I would have assumed was standard for ADMINs and Moderators.

Please add this. 🙏🏾

I NEED this! My community moderator and I work in tandom to post in the community. Sometimes she preps my posts & events then I go add in the rest of the content (it worked well in Circle, but we're struggling with this now that HB doesn't allow me to EDIT her posts and vice versa!)
PLEASE add a feature option in the 'roles' that we can toggle on to 'edit all posts'! :)

Renee Vidor: Yes!! This is exactly the way we function as well. But it's been hard to work together to edit and add to each other's post. We have to message each other (we are in different timezones) and ask the other to add the edits. It would be much better to have the ability as co-admins to edit each other's post. ✨

Editing all threads when for admin
Bastien
I want to edit some threads of my members, to correct spelling and grammar, to shape them.
HSMC Admin
This seems like a basic admin function. As we moderate posts and help people it seems logical the admins should be able to do basic editing. In our case we have a wide range of students posting, but also mentors who are professionals with little time. I don't want to ask them to go back and try edits when I should be able to do them. I'm the admin. I should have full control.
Also, in one of our mentor's posts, the url created a failed embed link that couldn't be deleted for some reason. It was an opportunity for an admin who understands the system better to step in and make the edit quickly. But alas the admin couldn't fix it and the poster was traveling. So now we have a bad post up, and we didn't want to delete the other material they put up. I would happily copy the post and re-post, but I can't attribute the post to the original poster (another feature we should be able to do).

It seems to me that if something's inappropriate, the original poster could go in & re-edit back to the way it was. Wouldn't it be better to just delete the post & maybe have some process like Facebook does where you can require admin approval on new posts from that member or block them from posting for a period of time or just boot them?
Patrick Honegger
Misty Dorman: Of course, that would be even better and more flexible. But to keep it simple I would like to change or remove the inappropriate part (e.g. affiliate links etc) and send the poster a dm why I changed the post.
Misty Dorman
Patrick Honegger: makes sense.
HSMC Admin
Misty Dorman: This is our situation as well. Only a part of the post needed to be changed. We didn't want to delete it all, and the poster didn't have time to go back and fix it.

VERY important. Assumed this would be part of the plan already.
