🤑 Enable Stripe Taxes within the HB integration

Especially important for B2B communities (to advertise lower perceived prices)!
In order to do this, let us define
1) tax rates we'd like to use and
2) if we've set a price for a new products in HB as 'inclusive' or 'exclusive' tax.
This (hopefully) can be done by implementing Stripe Tax Rates
as per the following docs:

What are you doing meanwhile Heartbeat complete this feature? Use Gumroad/Hotmart or something else for payments, and then redirecting community to Heartbeat?
What do you recommend to do?
Amanda Gobatto
Fabrizio Scoglio: Two options - either use something else (I use my current course platform and then redirect them to the event but this is very manual) OR pull out the taxes on the back end + charge them through Heartbeat (an accounting pain).

Cross-border tax collection and calculation (Stripe integration)

Loving the way HB is currently going for a deep Stripe integration. Extremely convenient and valuable to say the least.
If HB could implement the tax collection and calculation features (https://stripe.com/en-gb-nl/tax) from Stripe, I’d would be over the moon. This would help all the communities on HB to expand cross-borders more easily.
Stripe charges 0.5% per transaction for this service, but perhaps HB could negotiate lower fees and offer this as an add-on within HB?

Would be so nice to have auto tax enabled.

Please add this functionality 🙏

Yes, this is a must. It’s illegal for my company to collect payments without visible showing the included VAT. This is true for all VAT registered companies in EU.
So right now I am forced to use another platform for payment collection. And I can’t recommend HB to clients, because they won’t be compliant when collecting payments.

the VAT problem seems to start somewhere else - stripe said it is not possible for them to tell, who ISSUES the invoice. if HB issues the invoice, its up to HB to calculate and show the tax rates. if it is Stripe, they will do it on their end and there are several possibilities to adjust your profile.
so it starts with this question - who issues the invoice?
also this is not only important for B2B, as i need my invoices to show the correct amount of VAT also for B2C. so in order to be able to accept payment through hb/stripe this really needs to be fixed!

This is much needed. Without the tax option it is not possible to use it for B2B. At least not in DK.
