🛠️ Supported Embeds Page
Now you've got an easy page to visit & see all the tools Heartbeat has automated, pre-styled embeds for!
This means, you can just drop a link into the 'embed' field & Heartbeat will take care of the rest! Remember, you can still embed HTML snippets, but this tends to be a lot easier 🙂
PS. The new mobile beta is launched & it's been going great!

We also worked on 👀
New stuff:
- Ability to "delete" videos in video library (Native Video Hosting only)
- Added new support tools to help with troubleshooting Documents issues
- Improved count for event tickets to remove "onboarding, incomplete" users from official count
- Added toggle to dis-allow automated upload of Zoom recordings
Fixes:
- (Android) Native videos now properly rotate
- Improved process for recovering deleted channels
- Cleaned up styling for Workflows embedded in different areas (onboarding, events, groups)
- Improved styling for 'next lesson' teaser in Courses
Last week, we added the ability to delete pending users & got the mobile app ready for beta testing :)

🧹 Delete Pending Users
You can now clean out your Pending Users page with an easy "clear" button!
Visit
Settings > All Users
and click the 'clear' button in the top right corner to remove all pending users & clean out the list. Those users can still join your community if they have an invitation link, but this way you have a clearer view of who might be getting stuck while joining your community.
PS. The new mobile app will be ready for beta testing this week!

New stuff:
- 👋 Murtaza & Mayhul are no longer in new communities. As we finalize the 'support user' functionality we've been working on, we've removed ourselves from all new communities. Still working on doing that for exisiting communities too.
Fixes:
- Workflow notifications now properly respect individual notification settings
Last week, we heavily improved the 'Create Community' Flow, added a 'supported embeds' page, and did a ton of bug fixes.

🎨 Improved "Create Community" Flow
After auditing drop-offs & points of confusion in the 'new community' journey, we've heavily improved several onboarding pages:
- Sign-up process for new users
- 'Sign up with Google' option for new community builders
- 'Free trial expired' screen w/ better info
- More clarity around plans & options after free trials expire
Running several more growth tests over the next few weeks to continually improve the onboarding process for new users & we're rapidly A/B testing new ideas to get clear data on what works & what doesn't.
We also worked on 👀
New stuff:
- 💰 Added support for the Qatari Riyal in Heartbeat Payments.
- 🛠️ Heavily improved email management processes. Audited our processes to see where emails were being dropped & fixed things so all Hearties are correctly getting weekly update emails.
- 📝 Added 'Supported Embeds' page to website. Should make it easier to see which websites Heartbeat automatically creates styled embeds for. View the page here.
Fixes:
- Courses with a subscription payment now show correct information in 'course settings'
- Assignments no longer say "past due" when viewed on the due date
- Community embed cards now correctly hide information from users that don't have access to it (instead of showing empty objects)
- New users no longer get emails for events w/ email prefs set to "none"
- Fixed issue with free trials carrying over on tiered products incorrectly
