Re-order left sidebar

Because of the way the 2nd sidebard for courses cuts off the titles, I found a temporary workaround by listing my courses on the main sidebar, but want to re-order everything and apparently it's not possible.

I'd like the option to reorder the new left sidebar.
Having the Courses, Docs, & Links at the top vs. Threads, is not right for everyone. I have a Get Started Thread that used to be at the top that isn't anymore. I want to be able to reorder this.

I love the new single sidebar but really want to be able to create sections to make it easier for community navigation as I find people get a bit confused where to go so for example I want to create a heading for LEARN, ENGAGE, LINKS - but to do that, I need to be able to move the courses, resources, links into the different areas. Making this more customisable would be brilliant.
