Lately, I've seen a lot of companies adding a FOMO experience when you're creating your account, showing testimonials, reviews and so on.
This excites people to finish their account creation process and want to log in right away.
It would be awesome if Heartbeat could let us showcase some sneak peeks of our communities to people who are creating their accounts.
For example, the new carousel card (so people in this process could see trending posts 🔥, random lessons, future events and some previously uploaded images from us.
This way we could further excite future members to be part of our community so that the account creation process already feels like an onboarding.

I am not sure how the landing page in Mighty Networks looks though.
It will be utterly helpful to have the overview as an landing page in the Mobile app. (The page you land on when you press the 3 horizontal bars in the top left corner when on current landing page in the Mobile App)
When new members log in, they would immediately see the threads and the icons on the bottom of the screen. The app would make more sense to everyone right away. It will help growing our community. It will also help people navigate and like the platform right away.
To have a thread as a landing page causes a lot of confusion for new members, and a lot of work, moving posts to the correct thread and explaining, for the admins.

On both web and mobile when new users go to check out your community they are met with a blank wall and a locked door with no idea of what's on the other side. It's even worse on mobile because they are forced to download an app to see if the community is even worth joining. This is huge friction in new signups. Please make it possible for non logged in users to see some kind of a preview with a login CTA/option.

For SEO promo and other reasons, being able to add an optional landing page would be seriously awesome. At least as option for Developers to add static HTML would already be sufficient.
