Card Styling in Docs editor
Bri Leever
It would be awesome to have a card-style layout available when creating docs. This helps those with neurodiversity be better able to synthesize information if it's more visual and not just straight text. It also is really helpful for displaying pages with member bios (if you want to highlight or recognize certain members). It would be amazing to have the option to represent the information in a bit more visual way.

I think I'm the odd one out, but it would be great to have the option to go back to the list/directory-style view. We have lots of docs nested within sections, and with the card-style layout, the sub-sections get buried (you need to open a given card to see the docs within it). Would be nice to have the option to display as cards or as a list (similar to how Google Drive, for example, lets you choose whether you want tiles vs lists). Thank you Murtaza Bambot Mayhul Arora 🙏

Card view for docs

I'm really pleased with the new card view in courses. Thanks for implementing that so quickly.
I would like to suggest (and hear from the community) what people think about adopting a similar design to "resources".
I'm imagining smaller cards perhaps about half size with headings. The subfolders could be represented within the document as icons across the top. Custom images available for everything.
The ability to sell a resource is a potential here too.
I think the more graphic heavy design would be less overwhelming for members than a text folder structure with emojis.
Thoughts?

That would be just awesome as my Docs list is becoming quite long so members must scroll extensively to see the various documents created.

I'm here for alll the visual things! I personally don't like too much text and visual assets are my thing!

This! Says the girl with severe ADHD. Long screeds of plain white with small text is a nightmare for me — but visual/card layouts also often work better for everyone, though they’re more of an accessibility boost for those of us with neuro disorders/conditions.

Yes! With the ability to choose our images on the cards, this could be pretty sweet.
