Hello! 👋 It would be nice to have the ability to issue
custom
badges (that would show next to the name without clicking into the profile). This would expand the possibilities. Custom badges could be automatically assigned based on certain criteria (eg course completion), or 1st 100 members in a community get the Founder’s Badge, etc, or manually assigned.

You can now make any group a badge! That means the group will appear as a badge next to the members' name in threads, comments, and messages! Go to Settings > Manage Groups and select Edit from the 3-dot menu for the group you'd like to make a badge. You will see a visibility option as shown below. We can't wait to see how you all use badges in your communities! Comment below how you'll use this new feature :)

Does anyone know if the certificate or learning badge is being considered?

What would be a temporary solution? Anyone found a way?

this is one of my favorite features is my current e-learning. A quiz is a plus if it is a certification. I get to create the certificate it and the software mergers with the students name and business after the pass a quiz.

LEARNING BADGE or CERTIFICATES: Can we also issue learning badge or certificates in every module or lesson?
This implies that upon completion of each course or lecture unit, students will obtain a microcredential. Microcredentials are often referred to as badges. They enable learners to demonstrate their abilities and accomplishments online. The learning routes are comprised of a set of badges that may be achieved in any order or concurrently. They enable students to create a customized learning path that is tailored to their own requirements and interests.
Microcredentials are rapidly gaining traction in higher education, since they enable students to acquire new skills and knowledge in a specialized field without committing to a complete program.
Microcredentials have the advantage of being done at your own speed, which makes them an attractive alternative for students who wish to continue working while pursuing their education.
