Enhanced onboarding approval
Claudia Marras
Could you please introduce a feature that allows administrators to use onboarding questions as a filter and approve or reject membership requests after potential members fill out a form? Currently, we use a separate form to screen those who join the community, creating unnecessary friction with two forms. This feature or something similar would be is super important for us because it streamlines the onboarding process and enables us to approve members based on the information provided. By incorporating onboarding questions as a screening filter, we can ensure that only suitable members are approved, enhancing the quality and integrity of our community.

I'd like to have the final say as to who gets to join or not as well, especially after having added a free tier. If the user's membership could be "pending review of the administrator" after the onboarding questions were answered, that would be great.

Yes, same here. Having to use a triaging external form is just creating a poor user experience. I'm sure this could be easily integrated, replicating how people can manage communities on facebook or skool.

I love this! Currently I use a form in Active Campaign (our email marketing provider) to do this, but it would be much easier to do it in one place - perhaps a two step setup> 1. apply to join a community 2. once approved, then they go through the steps that are currently active (billing info, etc.).
