For stand alone courses to have the ability to be purchased without having to join the community
Sabre' Oreyana
I know for some people, they may buy something from you with no commitment to join the community to see if they would want to join. It would be nice to keep everything in one spot. And if they decided to join they would be able to see other things they have purchased from you. Based off them using the same email address.

Separate courses from the community

I would love to be able to offer a course without the community aspect so that users can't see how many others have signed up for it (so that if there aren't other members in the course yet, it doesn't change the user experience or appear to be unpopular). Thanks!

Oh this is interesting, I'm just starting out and have a course associated with my community, but I would love to have a free course or even a paid "mini-course" available that is not associated with my community. I thought this was possible but maybe not based on your comment.

Yes, and maybe the same for courses or partbof community, because is not useful for a non-user to discover a "registering page" when is not member or conneted.

I have my standalone workshops in the courses that I like to sell independently. I've periodically wondered if having to 'join' is a barrier to some who would otherwise just buy the workshop. And, having the permalink for the course material not require a login would be amazing. Just a public access, view only link.

Eryn Anitavi that would be amazing if the permalink worked like that

I support this as well - one company I support is a healthcare company (so we can't have a community unless it is in a HIPAA regulated platform - and even then it's tough). But we would love to use Heartbeat for offering courses that might support our other clinical offerings (but without a community element).

Very interested in this feature as well. Not only for the reasons stated above but also to get people into the ecosystem with cheap/free mini courses (where it would not make sense to provide community). But then, upsell the community, for example.

Kevin Aventura I second this, it's exactly why we also want this feature!
