I would like the ability for admins and members to be able to add gifs when CREATING a post. Currently, I can see a gif and copy it but I cannot paste it into HB. I’m very sad.

It would be awesome if Gifs were supported in the main text editor AND amazing if they didn't disappear when you pin the post.
Right now it seems you can only add Gifs as a comment rather than in the main body of a new thread. Users don't know to click into a post to see the comments (and the Gif), which is a missed opportunity to spark engagement.

The reasons you're not seeing it in the pinned post is because the pinned posts currently show as an excerpt. You could start the pinned post with something like "click to see the entire post". Leaving this open for the Gif request.

Yes that would be very helpful. Also not just Giphy, but please allow us to add & display local gif files as well!

I would like to add that I want gifs to be able to embed into docs like a photo. I made a gif to demonstrate some instructions & just realized it won't embed in my doc. I ended up uploading it for now, but displaying it would be much better.
