IPad app shows up as cell phone size
Misty Dorman
I’m using a 12.9” iPad Pro & the app displays cell phone sized. There’s a zoom optin, but it stays portrait. If I turn the iPad to portrait mode, I can also zoom in & it sizes a bit larger, but it still doesn’t quite fill the screen & feels like it really should display more like desktop mode (especially in portrait).

When logging into Hearbeat by using Ipad OS, Screen resolution from the app does not adapt into the whole screen

I’m trying to figure out how to vote for this, and I can’t find where the vote button is…

Any progress on this? I have the same issue, and it’s more than a year later. I use the browser on my laptop, which works, but the app would be awesome…

In a HB support call today, we discovered that this may be fixed by downloading the "Desktop" version from the HB website instead of downloading the mobile version from the Apple store. I haven't tested it yet. If this works, I would suggest HB add in the app description that it's only for phones & maybe a link to download the Desktop version of the app for iPad & iMac.

Misty Dorman: Seemed very unlikely but tested, but not working. Can’t open a .dmg file on iPad. But what’s true is that developers can easily make one build that works both on Mac AND iPad. But this is only for the iPad Apple M1 chips. Mine is the latest without that unfortunatly.. so I prefer a native iPad app.

Me Too: Mine's working ok on iPad Pro 12.9" with the desktop app. It's not intuitive to use that though. You'd naturally just go to the app store to find the app.
