Provide multi-language translation for uneditable text across the platform.

If text is uneditable, we'd like to be able to automatically have that text translated into the community / local language (ex: German, Spanish, French, etc.)

I will translate whatever ist possible into German, but I have a similar situation to Lucas. Many of my members are older and find it difficult to navigate an app in English, especially since I ask them to leave "familiar FB territory". Automated translations would greatly enhance their experience and accessibility.

Translate mail copy

For the many of us having communities in other languages than english, it could be so great if we had a way of editing the copy that Heartbeat generates and sends to users, like mentions, events copy etc.
Or if a small team of admins could volunteer providing acceptable localisations for some of the major languages that we are using, like french, german, italian etc...
It would make the platform way more appealing.
Thank you for empowering us.

Automated German Language Translation

I would like to have an automated translation feature for the platform to support my German-speaking audience. Many of my members are older and find it difficult to navigate an app in English. Automated translations would greatly enhance their experience and accessibility.

Yes, I support this request, would be great. Thanks

Surely Heartbeat is showing no interest in localising anything. At best can we have that the few texts that are currently showing have a field name - staying in English for the various features being supported, but that 2nd language labels are added. That we add. This would speed up exponentially what is a half hearted internationalisation gambit at this point.

En mi caso, es imprescindible que se pueda traducir automáticamente a español. De lo contrario, la navegación no es fluida para todos los clientes.
Por favor, avisarme si en algún momento está disponible en español.
Muchas gracias.

This platform has so much potential and addresses a critical need to step away from the major social networks of this world. It must be available in multiple languages! That’s the bare minimum!
My community is French-speaking, and it’s a decisive factor—whether in the onboarding sequence or even in the membership purchase process—that everything is in the member’s native language. It’s a much harder step to take when 80% of the buttons, menus, actions, and links asking for your money are not in your primary language. Not everyone is bilingual.
Why not do like Thrivecart and offer an option to create a list of expressions to translate manually across the entire site?
