For CHAT CHANNELS, both features (EDIT& REPLY TO one specific message) would be gladly appreciated. I've seen similar feature requests but only for DMs, unless I haven't checked enough.

I think they have this already. For the app, simply press and hold on the message you want to reply to, a reply option will pop up. I wish it was always visible because I didn't even know that it was possible.

Yes! Often I'm talking with my team/students about many different things at once, so having the ability to keep things organized as threads is very important. I've had to resort to using Slack for this instead, but would love to have everything under one roof with Heartbeat
