VIMEO embeds in Mobile App

VIMEO embedded videos aren't playing in Heartbeat Android app. Heartbeat is the only platform I've had this issue with - the likes of Mighty Networks, Circle, etc - don't have an issue with Vimeo vids refusing to play in Android apps. It's NOT an issue of restricting Vimeo domains (multiple users have lifted all domain restrictions for Vimeo videos, and they still don't play in Heartbeat Android apps).

december 2024 and it is not fixed.....but they have a video hosting feature that works.....

I have had the same problem. From my understanding it is technically not really possible to do that. The solution is to use Heartbeat Native hosting.

Was coming in here to post this as well. This has been an issue that's been around for several months now - I opened a support ticket and it never got resolved. Would love to have this fixed.

Also Adilo - works sometimes - doesn't work others.

I had this problem on iphone app also. I eventually just stopped using Vimeo because I couldn't get it to work.
