Feature Requests

I would love the ability for users to be able to mute the channels they want from their own feed, so they can curate their feed. I use my community as an updates feed, with updates for different geographical regions, and I need people to be able to be able to mute channels if they want. Discord has this feature, for example: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/209791877-How-do-I-mute-and-disable-notifications-for-specific-channels Users can mute channels that are not relevant to them. They can still view the content, but don't have to get the info in their feed.

Currently, when anyone posts multiple photos to the feed (desktop), it expands the photos to the size of the feed container and stacks them vertically, which in turn creates super-long posts. It would be preferable to have multiple images in a post featured as thumbnails that expand when one clicks on them (as it is on the app).

Long posts take up A LOT of space on threads, especially on mobile. Can we please shorten them (like on FB for example) and show only the first few sentences and then add a read more button?

My members have asked for a way to Follow a thread so they will always be notified whenever there is a new reply in that thread.

This is about the post creation process from the Feed - which is the most obvious way for many users since it’s the landing for when one opens the app, both on browser and app. Now we can set a Default channel where new posts would be published if a user doesn’t choose otherwise. But my channel have very different purposes, so the “default” doesn’t actually make any sense. And I obviously explain to people that they have to select the proper channel via the “Post in” option at the bottom, but they often forget to (I do too!). I’d love to be able to set an option to make the channel selection forced before posting. This would completely eliminate the risk of random posting in the ‘default’ channel.

My members are sensitive to ecology and would like to be able to delete all their posts after a few months for ecology reasons. Indeed storage is an issue and uses a lot of energy. I think this would be an interesting and important feature now a days. Thanks you

I want members to see what's happening in a channel they don't have access to (that is part of a specific Offer) so I can upsell the access to these private spaces in my community.

The ability to place images and videos anywhere in a post that we select.

I do not and have not got capacity to listen to voice notes to moderate them. This needs to be a feature I can turn off for members.

Hi, We’d like to request a small improvement to better support Right-to-Left (RTL) languages such as Arabic, while continuing to fully support Left-to-Right (LTR) languages like English. The proposal is to add the following attribute to the message content container: dir="auto" Using dir="auto" allows the browser to automatically detect the text direction based on the first strong character. This provides: • Correct rendering for RTL languages (e.g., Arabic) • No impact on LTR languages • A simple, standards-based solution with no additional logic required This change would significantly improve the user experience for multilingual content.
