Feature Requests

It would be nice to have the option to send the message with the image through API. Embed with link, or direct upload from binary data. Its a basic feature, so i think it whould help.

Will AI features be built into the app?

Ability to use Google Meet instead of Zoom for events/video.

Ability to set up automated emails when students haven't engaged with a course for X amount of time.

Zoom integration is great, but not all events that are recorded need to be made accessible later. It would be extremely useful to have the possibility to manage which ones or at least to be able to remove them from the event page.

Please integrate slack so I can be notified a custom notification! (When someone joins a specific group, purchase etc)

Can you add support for callouts and databases too please? I tried looking through the Notion API to (hopefully) get some relevant links: Callouts: https://developers.notion.com/reference/block#callout-blocks Databases: https://developers.notion.com/reference/database

Would be nice if there was an action that, instead of sending the invite link to a user via Heartbeat's email, would simply generate the link and return it in the Zapier output. That way I could avoid deliverability issues and email the invite link myself.

I would like to have icon options in addition to emoji options when creating a thread/doc/etc. These look much cleaner than emojis & would be a great option for aesthetics. In this Notion example, you'll see there's an icon tab & each icon has a few color options. I know there's another feature request for the ability to use custom images. If so, we could likely mimic using the icon style by downloading grabbing individual icons from this site: https://icons8.com/icons/windows

I'm new and looking for a home for my new community. I'm down to the last two having trailed a few (once I build it I don't want to move it so I'm taking care to find the right one). The massive sticking point for me is the sign-up process - you sign up and wait for the email with the link and then it's crickets for up to 10 minutes. I just thought it hadn't worked tbh. And when the email does eventually arrive there's just 1 hour and then the link is no longer live. This would be fine if the email arrived immediately so that the process is seamless, but others on the forum have stated that they see a huge potential customer drop off as a result of this. Such a shame as everything else about Heartbeat ticks all my boxes.
