Feature Requests

Ability to embed a video of the completed event replay, so that if someone missed the event, they don't have to search a thread to find a replay. This would optimize the use of all those reminders they get by using the link from any of the reminders to immediately view the replay.

I would love to offer the same event to 2 or more tiers or groups and have one be able to access for free while the others are required to pay for the event.

Some of my community want to see the timezone displayed next to the time when I create an Event. Currently it only shows the date and time

The permissions field for event creator is just too broad and we can't control the right aspects which means that we have a few folks who can create events... these folks aren't the host of the event though and there's no way to change the host to actual host. Help?

The majority of event platforms offer creation of unique custom fields for events. Custom field data gives event organizers hindsight of attendee preferences, questions, and comments about the event.

Reoccurring events for members AND the general public would be incredible to add so we can invite people into our space that haven't previously been there. Having to add an event in individually each week is nuts - there is not ease and flow in that! Why it isn't already a feature seems odd to me! Heartbeat is a MEMBERSHIP building tool and yet without this feature it becomes a manual process. Thus I will have to go and use another event site to book my events as they offer reoccurring. This splits continuity for me and my potential members AND it keeps us off Heartbeat which is crazy. Others are asking for this feature too!

Currently, my member sees a paywall first, when clicking on an event, before seeing any details of the event to decide if they want to attend or not. Can you change the timing of the paywall so that it is displayed when a member clicks the RSVP button, and not clicking the event post? That way, people can see the event details, and be presented with the paywall when they click on RSVP.

I miss a lot of the events as they clash with other stuff I have going on. I’d love to catch up though and request a private podcast feed so you can listen on the go rather than be tied into watching on computer etc. Something like Hello Audio does this - It’s low cost, super easy just add the mp3 and share the sign up page for your community to use. It would be a great add on to our heartbeat community.

If members don't join before or exactly on time, then it does not show the event on their mobile app once it's begun. This leads to a lot of confusion and missed events for members, as they can no longer easily access the zoom link. Any fix for this?

Right now, when opening the Events tab, Agenda only shows the name + time of future events. When having a bunch of scheduled events this can look overwhelming and difficult to read. It would be waaay better if this Agenda view also shows the cover image of each event, so people can visually understand the theme of each call (mockup attached). Let's go, Heartbeat!! 💪🏼
