Had a new member point out that they were not able to view our Terms and Code until joining the community (I have it in Resources/Docs). Would be cool if we could make those docs public and link to them from a signup page or external web page.

I get quite a few complaints from people who get an email saying that there is an unread "message" on my community when I have used the @ function of their group on a post. They click through and there obviously there is no "message" which they understandably thought would be a DM.

I’d love to have a feature to celebrate member birthday’s in the community. I image it as option for admins to add to the onboarding, then when a member joins they can opt to add their birth date, and select if they want it celebrated in the birthday feed on their birthday. (It would also be in their account settings). If birthday’s is enabled in the community, a new thread is created for all the birthday announcements and an automatic post is published on the members birthday.

If text is uneditable, we'd like to be able to automatically have that text translated into the community / local language (ex: German, Spanish, French, etc.)

It would be useful to display active contributors or collaborator based on their level of activity inspiring others to engage more.

I've received member feedback that the grey color of sidebar links that are not selected looks more like a "dead link" than an unselected condition. Can we explore darkening the greyed-out color a bit, or making its hex code another customizable variable?

I would like to see non-competitive forms of gamification. In other words, gamification that encourages an individual to keep participating and progressing, but not as compared to others. Points that can be traded in for rewards, stars or other visual ability to see your progress, being able to "level up" based on participation or course completion, bingo boards, etc.

Currently, clicking on a profile picture doesn’t expand it. This makes interactions feel less personal, especially in a community like ours where forming genuine connections is the core experience. Being able to enlarge profile pictures would help members feel more connected and recognized. It’s a small shift that would go a long way in building community intimacy and encouraging authentic interactions. Bonus wild ask... if we could add MULTIPLE profile photos…that would be huge - so members could look through an album per member when they go to their profile.

Adding a level-up system can create more engagement and brand loyalty on the users profile. Members can level up their points by replying on comments, creating a post, participating in certain events or quizzes etc. And possibly redeem the points for "rewards" by prestiging etc. These rank up systems can be useful towards matchmaking as well because this can cause ranks to match up with people who are at a similar "level" as them. Things to consider about this as well will create: more competition, points farming etc. But the overall idea is to build and create a more engaging and loyal community. (Similar to how credit cards are used; receive points to redeem for a flight to go to hawaii etc.)
